Become A Great Voice Actor
About Marni Webb
I am a nationally-acclaimed voice actor, media spokesperson, writer and director with credits ranging from commercials to animation, documentaries to audio books, films and more.
My dozens of national and regional awards include those for audio excellence in both vocal talent and in vocal direction/audio production. I hosted CBS Radio’s nationally syndicated “Entertainment Update,” and for over a decade performed as the on-camera and radio voice for a national retail outlet. I have represented many government and non-profit organizations on-camera and vocally as well as written scripts for agencies as diverse as the California Lottery, the Department of Justice/Attorney General’s Office, Office of Emergency Services, Water Resources Department, and the California Highway Patrol.
I was the first female voice Wells Fargo Bank ever used; I have been the voice of Amtrak’s Capitol Corridor train; and the list goes on. As a director, my credits include directing numerous audio books for a national audio book publisher, countless TV and radio commercials, and several film documentaries.
As a writer, I have written both short stories and non-fiction essays for advertising and academic publications as well as texts for spoken word artist performances. I am a third-generation Californian who currently resides in the Sacramento area and am a founding member of the highly praised spoken-word performance group, StoryVoices, which raises funds for charitable organizations.
Currently, I teach a series of voice over classes and mentor new talent as often as I can. The talent community has blessed me many times over, and Jack Barry and I try to give back however we can by forming a community of learning and giving, a place of mutual respect and sharing.(Member SAG-AFTRA)
